Scrum Workshop
The words “Agile” and “Scrum” are very fashionable. And, there is a lot of mis-understanding about exactly what it means to be Agile or Scrum. Does it simply mean producing more functionality at the expense of documentation and quality? And, what are the implications of running an Agile project?
In this workshop, we will talk about what it means to be Agile, will go through the basics of what Agile is and the mindset needed to adopt it. We’ll talk about:
- What is Agile? What is Scrum? What is the lineage of Scrum?
- The Scrum framework, including roles, meetings and artifacts
- What are the Agile Engineering practices?
- What projects, or types of projects are suitable?
- What are the implications of adopting Agile or Scrum?
This workshop will baseline the team and their management, and allowing everyone to have a clear understanding on what Agile and Scrum really are. The duration of this workshop ranges from 1/2 a day to a full day, and includes presentations, exercises and a healthy dose of questions and answers.
